We are a public school in Gibsonburg, Ohio. It is the only public school in the Gibsonburg Exempted Village School District. Our nickname is the Golden Bears. We are members of the SBC (River Division) after having competed for many years in the TAAC and SLL

• Ted Smith - All-American football player in 1975 at The Ohio State University

• Verna Schlea Lehmann - Class of 1943 - owned a Thoroughbred racehorse named Dustcommander that won the Kentucky Derby and Blue Grass Stakes (both Triple Crown races) in 1970.  That horse's son, Master Derby, won the 1975 Preakness Stakes.
